A Digital Exhibition – Open Call to All Artists
All submissions received in 2023 are eligible to be part of the third edition of the Platforme Planet Earth digital exhibition – Art for Climate Change.
Artists are encouraged to continue to submit work, which will be entered in the third exhibition (timing tba).
Artwork that will be shown in the exhibition will be selected from two separate channels – curated pieces through galleries as well as submissions on this site.
The program will feature renowned artists and amateurs. Photography, paintings, sculpture and all other digital images are eligible.
All pieces must fit in one of the nine categories, selected by the artist at the time of submission:

1. Selection
Once the curators select the artwork to be included, the exhibition will be created and produced as a short film, it will headline the Platforme Planet Earth website and all marketing outreach for 3 to 6 months.
2. Video Production
The exhibition will be produced as a video- including images of the winning submissions. A high-impact audio-visual presentation of the exhibition will debut on all of our digital media and social channels.
The exhibition will be included on our dedicated channel, Planet Earth, on ikonotv- which has 1 million+ monthly viewers.
The exhibition is directed by Platforme Planet Earth Founder, Judy Holm and curated by Gina Costa and Savita Apte- internationally renowned art historians and curators.
The film will be produced by award winning filmmaker, Juan Carlos Zaldivar.
The exhibition will be available as a Traveling Exhibition and made available to corporations and other institutions via a licensing fee.

What do I need to do to start showing my artwork on Platforme Planet Earth?
We are delighted that you want to partner with us! To get started, you will first need to create an artist account, select your package, submit artwork and make your payment. Once you are approved, your work is online and you’re all set! Also, don’t forget to take some time to fill in your profile with information about yourself, such as where you studied, your exhibition history, and an artist’s statement in the provided sections. This kind of information can increase your chances of selling work and being noticed by our curators and the public.
What do I need to do to start selling my artwork on Platforme Planet Earth?
We are delighted that you want to partner with us! Once your submission is approved, we will share our artist contract for your review. If we agree to the terms, your work may be included for sale on our shop.
How does shipping work?
The contact information you provide on your listing describes your process directly with the buyers. Platforme Planet Earth is not involved in the process. Only in cases of dispute, there may be necessary intermediation.

Can anyone sell on Platforme Planet Earth?
Platforme Planet Earth supports the work of all established and emerging artists. If you are at least 18 years of age, then you can sell your art on our platform. If you have gallery representation, we are still incredibly happy to have you on Platforme Planet Earth, as we are a non-exclusive online gallery. Your work must align with one of our nine categories of “Climate Change” art.
What can I sell on Platforme Planet Earth?
We provide a platform for artists to sell works in a variety of mediums, including painting, collage, photography, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, limited edition prints, digital art, video installations, and open edition prints.
How does commission work on Platforme Planet Earth?
If you sell an original artwork, Platforme Planet Earth will take a 35% commission on the final sale price. If a promotional discount code is offered, the discount will be deducted from the price of the artwork and the 65/35 commission split will then be calculated, so that we are sharing the discount with you. Like most galleries, we offer promotional discounts from time to time as an incentive for new and returning collectors to explore the constantly updating selection of artwork on our platform. Offering promotions allows artists more opportunity to connect to collectors previously unaware of their work and a better chance to make future sales.
With Platforme Planet Earth’s low commission, only 35% compared to the 50% most galleries take, you earn more selling your work with us.
