Vincenzo Cohen (Vincenzo Curcio) is an Italian painter and photographer involved in
Wildlife Conservation. He was born in Switzerland and he has a classical background. In
2002 he graduated in Fine Arts and in 2005 he held his first Solo Exhibition. In 2007 he
received a second master's degree in Archaeology. His production is eclectic and consists in
the use of different media and styles. He has travelled through many countries of Africa and
Middle East to study wildlife and get inspiration for his art production. Much of his work
consists in reworking of life experiences through an expressionist language and by means of
photography or through the combination of both artistic techniques.
One of the artist’s core themes, developed over the years, is the extinction of wildlife.
