About the exhibition and event:
Art for Climate Change will be produced as a short film- including images of all of the winning submissions. Each of the nine climate change categories will be included in the video, thereby telling the story of climate change in 2021. The mission is to invoke emotion and passion of the viewers to reflect on climate change, but more importantly to take immediate and bold action in their individual and professional lives.
Artwork will be selected from two separate channels – curated pieces through galleries and through public submission. The program will feature top renown artists and separate categories for amateurs.
Partnering with esteemed internationally renowned designer and architect, Xavier Lavergne, Art for Climate Change, the Platforme Planet Earth exhibition will premier in his private showroom and studio from October 15 to 21, 2021.
The space is well-suited for Platforme Planet Earth, with 180 square meters over 3 floors providing an intimate and artistic backdrop.
This beautiful backdrop will frame the video installation to its best visual presentation. Artists, guests and all partners will learn more about climate change in an elegant and unique setting in Paris.
The week-long pop-up will provide an exciting program of climate change content – with academic and institutional panels, talks and cutting-edge entertainment.
The exhibition and program will be curated by Platforme Planet Earth Founder, Judy Holm and other guest curators to be announced. The film will be produced by Platform Planet Earth team member, Academy Award winning filmmaker, Juan Carlos Zaldivar.
Most exhibitions incur significant carbon emissions via shipping and other travel costs throughout the supply chain of the exhibition preparation and installation.
Our exhibition is digital content only, with minimal carbon footprint

Mr. Lavergne is widely known for his recent seven-year tenure as architect of the vast renovation project for Château de Versailles. He will be onsite throughout the popup event to share some of his stories about his work as an architect, and as one of the leading-edge visionaries of contemporary design. His design work incorporates alchemy, morphogenesis and hybrid structures- with cast iron, Murano glass, crushed gemstones and other “planet earth” materials.
